Omaha Storm & Hail Damage Roof Repair

Severe weather happens fast in Nebraska. We move just as quickly — same-day emergency tarping, thorough damage documentation, and on-site coordination with your insurance adjuster. From first inspection to final shingle, we make storm recovery straightforward.

What We Handle

Storm Damage Doesn’t Wait. Neither Should You.

Omaha sees some of the most aggressive hail and wind in the country. A single storm can leave a roof with thousands of small impact bruises that aren’t visible from the ground — but absolutely affect the shingle’s ability to protect your home for the next decade. Left unaddressed, even minor damage turns into leaks, rotted decking, and expensive interior repairs.

We respond to storm damage calls across the Omaha metro within 2 business hours and offer same-day emergency tarping for active leaks. Whether it’s hail, straight-line winds, ice dams, or fallen branches, our team documents every issue with photos, drone aerial imagery, and detailed measurements — the same documentation your insurance adjuster needs to approve your claim.

We handle damage from hail, high winds, ice dams, fallen trees and branches, microbursts, and tornadic activity. We’re not a chase-the-storm out-of-state contractor — we’re local, family-run, and here long after the work is done.

Our Process

How Storm Damage Recovery Works

01

Free Inspection

We climb the roof and document everything — hail bruises, lifted shingles, granule loss, flashing damage, gutter dents. You get a written report with photos.

02

Adjuster Meeting

When your insurance adjuster comes out, we meet them on-site to walk through the damage together. This is where most homeowners benefit most from having us in their corner.

03

Approval & Scope

Once your claim is approved, we review the scope of work with you in plain language. No fine print, no surprise upgrades, no pressure.

04

Repairs Done Right

Most residential roof replacements take a single day. We protect your landscaping, clean up completely, and follow up to make sure you’re happy.

Active Leak Right Now?

Don’t wait. Same-day emergency tarping protects your home from further damage and gives your insurance claim the strongest possible foundation.

What to Look For

Common Signs of Storm Damage

You don’t need to climb on your roof to spot warning signs. Look for these from the ground — and call us if you see any of them. Inspections are always free, and there’s no obligation to file a claim or use us for repairs.

Granules in Gutters

Excessive shingle granules in your downspouts after a hailstorm signal impact damage to the roof surface.

Dented Gutters or Flashing

If hail dented your aluminum gutters or vents, it almost certainly bruised your shingles too.

Missing or Lifted Shingles

High winds can lift or tear shingles. Even partial lifts compromise the seal and lead to leaks.

Water Stains on Ceilings

Brown rings or fresh damp spots inside your home are a clear signal water is finding its way in.

Damaged Siding or Windows

If hail damaged your siding, windows, or screens, your roof took the same hit — we just need to confirm it.

Debris on the Roof

Branches, leaves, or shingle fragments piled in valleys often indicate impact damage underneath.

Common Questions

Storm Damage Questions

Don’t see your question? Call us at (402) 979-6870 — we’re happy to talk it through. No pressure, no upselling.

What should I do immediately after a major storm?
Stay safe and stay on the ground. Walk the perimeter of your home and look for the warning signs above — missing shingles, granules in gutters, dented metal, water stains inside. Then call a trusted local roofer for a free inspection. Don’t climb on the roof yourself; even minor storm damage can make footing dangerous.
How long do I have to file an insurance claim?
Most homeowner’s policies in Nebraska require claims to be filed within 12 months of the storm event, but every policy is different. Some are shorter. The longer you wait, the harder it is to prove the damage was caused by a specific storm. We recommend an inspection within 30 days of any significant hail or wind event.
Will filing a claim raise my insurance premium?
In most cases, single weather-related claims don’t increase premiums — they’re considered acts of nature, not driver-fault claims. Your insurer absorbs storm damage as part of normal coverage. Multiple claims in a short period or non-weather claims can be a different story. When in doubt, ask your agent before filing.
How do you tell if hail damaged my roof?
Hail leaves circular bruises on asphalt shingles — small dark spots where the granules were knocked away, exposing the asphalt mat underneath. Severity depends on hail size, wind angle, and shingle age. We document every bruise with photos and mark them physically on the roof so the insurance adjuster can see exactly what we found.
Can wind damage my roof if I don’t see missing shingles?
Yes. Winds above 50 mph can break the seal between shingles even when nothing visibly comes off. Once the seal breaks, the shingle flutters in future winds and water gets underneath. This kind of damage is often only visible from the roof itself.
Do you charge for the inspection or estimate?
No. Inspections are completely free with no obligation. We’ll document any damage, write up a report, and walk you through what we found. If you don’t want to file a claim or move forward with repairs, that’s entirely your call.
Should I get multiple bids?
You’re always welcome to. Be cautious of contractors offering to “waive your deductible” or asking you to sign anything before your insurance has approved a claim — both are red flags in Nebraska. We’ll gladly explain anything in our scope or estimate, and we don’t use high-pressure tactics.
How fast can you respond to active storm damage?
We respond to storm damage calls within 2 business hours during normal hours and offer same-day emergency tarping for active leaks. After major storm events, we prioritize homes with interior water intrusion first.
