Omaha Roof Replacement Done Right

Quality materials, single-day installs, no surprises. We replace residential roofs across the Omaha metro using proven methods, full manufacturer warranties, and the same care we’d give our own homes.

What You Get

A New Roof That’s Built for Nebraska Weather

The right roof in Omaha needs to handle hail, 70 mph wind gusts, ice dams, and the constant freeze-thaw cycles of Midwest winters. The wrong materials — or the wrong installation — will fail in five years and leave you fighting a warranty claim instead of enjoying your home.

We install architectural asphalt shingles from manufacturers we trust (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed), with options for Class 4 impact-resistant shingles that can lower your homeowner’s insurance premium. Every install includes synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the eaves, fully replaced flashing, ridge vents, and a complete cleanup — we run a magnet across your driveway and yard before we leave.

Most homes are completed in a single day. We use ground protection around landscaping, dump trailers staged carefully, and crews trained to keep your property exactly as we found it — minus the old roof.

When to Replace

Signs It’s Time for a New Roof

Not every roof issue calls for a full replacement. But when several of these signs show up together — or your roof is past 20 years old — replacement almost always saves money long-term compared to chasing repairs every storm season.

Roof Is 20+ Years Old

Architectural asphalt shingles in Nebraska typically last 20–25 years. Past that, replacement usually beats repair.

Curling or Buckling Shingles

When shingle edges curl up or middles buckle, the underlying mat is failing and the roof is no longer sealing.

Bald Spots & Granule Loss

Granules protect the asphalt from UV. Without them, the shingle dries out, cracks, and fails fast.

Visible Sagging

A sagging roofline points to compromised decking or rafters — a structural issue that needs immediate attention.

Daylight Through the Attic

If you can see light through your roof boards from inside the attic, water and air are also getting through.

Repeated Repair Calls

When you’ve had three or more repairs in a couple years, replacement almost always becomes the better investment.

How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements in Omaha are completed in a single day. Larger homes, steep pitches, or complex roof lines may take 2–3 days. We’ll give you a clear timeline before work begins.
What roofing materials do you install?
Primarily architectural asphalt shingles from GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed. We also offer Class 4 impact-resistant shingles, which qualify for insurance discounts in Nebraska. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs of each option.
What’s a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle, and is it worth it?
Class 4 is the highest impact rating from UL 2218. These shingles are tested to withstand a 2-inch steel ball dropped from 20 feet without cracking. Many Nebraska homeowner’s insurance policies offer 10–30% premium discounts for Class 4 roofs — often paying for the upgrade within a few years.
Do you tear off the old roof or install over it?
We tear off the old roof. Layering new shingles over old — called a “reroof” or “recover” — hides decking damage, voids most warranties, and adds significant weight. A proper tear-off lets us inspect and repair the decking, install new underlayment, and give you a real warranty.
Can I stay in my home during the install?
Yes. The work is loud and your driveway will be occupied, but you don’t need to leave. We recommend planning indoor activities — the noise from a nail gun directly overhead is significant. Pets are usually happier somewhere else for the day.
What about my landscaping?
We use ground protection around plants, place dump trailers carefully, and clean up thoroughly. We run magnets across the driveway and lawn to catch any stray nails. If something does get damaged, we make it right — no exceptions.
What warranties do you offer?
Manufacturer warranties on shingles range from 25 years to lifetime depending on tier. We also provide a workmanship warranty on our installation. We’ll explain exactly what’s covered before you sign anything.
Do I need to be home during the install?
Not necessarily, as long as we have access to the roof and we’ve confirmed the scope. Many of our customers go to work as normal. We’ll lock the gate and clean up before we leave.
